Jardín Borda
Work detail
The Jardín Borda is a colonial historical park in the center of the city of Cuernavaca in Mexico. The book recovers the important relationship of the public park with the social, cultural and heritage context of the state of Morelos with texts of scientific, literary and historical rigor about the origin of the botanical vocation of this green open space, its restoration, rehabilitation, equipment and adaptation according to the methods and criteria determined by its historical character, for its conservation and use. "Through an array of anecdotes, significant and instant experience journeys filled with profound emotions, the texts compiled here give us an unparallel historical and scientific, aesthetic and social vision of this site, national heritage. As a result, this volume also seeks to make a contribution to academic research on gardens and public spaces" -Page 304.
