The selected works that illustrate books for children and young adults (teenagers) were created using prevailing techniques and trends of this genre. First prize was for Enrique Torralba for his illustrations titled "Recolector de lunas", 2nd prize was for Juan José Camacho Hernández, for "Mago gandalla" and "Mago de circo" and 3rd place was for Ixchel Estrada, for her artwork "Pasea tu aéreo y corres y aparece el diablo", "Ruedas cambio por deseos" and "El móvil sal de casa y no mires al que pasa". Very good reference on contemporary Mexican book illustrators.
