The ruthless breed
Work detail
The town of Coldbrook was closed tight, with ruthless old Troy Coldbrook running it, and his headstrong son, Wes, ready to destroy all comers. And Steve Benson was his special target. He and Wes had a lot in common -- they both wanted the same stretch of rangeland -- and the same girl. It was hardly a fair fight with Wes having money, power, and the lust for blood and vengeance. Benson and the other small ranchers were in trouble when all hell broke loose as holdup led to murder and murder led to range war. Benson was being pushed hard . but when he was pushed he turned to iron, and iron doesn't yield.
