Florilège jörai is a curated collection of oral poetry and folk tales from the Jarai people of Vietnam, compiled and translated by French ethnographer Jacques Dournes. Published in 1987 by Sudestasie, this 169-volume preserves the lyrical and spiritual traditions of an indigenous Southeast Asian community. The work reflects Dournes’ deep engagement with Jarai language and culture, offering readers access to mythological narratives, ritual expressions, and poetic forms rooted in the highlands of Indochina.
